Hello, it’s been long time since the last post I wrote, I
didn’t write on my blog because I’m waiting until I get assignment to write on
my blog again, lol. And finally, I get an assignment to write an essay.
Write about the following topic :
- Today more people are traveling than ever before. Why is this the case ?
- What are the benefits of traveling for the traveler ?
- Give reason for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience
This is my answer for the first question :
Of course, people nowadays need holiday! Because the pressure
of work or study everyday makes our brain tired. We need holiday to make our
brain become fresh again.
This is my answer for the second question :
The benefits of traveling for the traveler is having a new
experience and knowledge. Know places that we don’t know before. We can get new
friends when traveling too. Also try something new that we never did before.
This is my answer for the last question :
Maybe I will give a little story why I need traveling and how’s
story of my traveling lol. I was in pressure by study, and also many things
that make me feel crazy, you know how it feels like ? I almost feel depress. Until
I finally have my vacation, it changes my mind a lot! think I’m going to share my
story when I traveled to Kukup Beach at Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. Why Kukup beach
? because I think that place is really beautiful. Okay, here we go ..
Actually, I haven’t traveled alone. I always travel with my
family. I never travel with my friends because my parents still not allow me. But
I would like to try to travel with my friend in the end of this year. So, this
is story about my travel last year with my family in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.
I’m so happy because my parent’s village is on this heaven.
Yup, Gunung Kidul has beautiful panorama such as hills, paddy fields, and river.
Of course, this place can relax my mind, that’s why I called this place “heaven”.
If you need a place for vacation, I recommend you to visit this place. You will
not be disappointed or feel boring because not only hills, paddy fields, and
river but Gunung Kidul also has 11 beaches. You can explore the beaches one by
one but you can’t reach all in a day because the road from one to another beach
is more than 10 km. Also, you need motorcycle or car to go to the beaches.
Kukup Beach is one of my favorite beach at Gunung Kidul. This
beach isn’t that far from Indrayanti beach. Kukup beach has beautiful panorama
and local residents make bridge that connect a cape to cape, as you can see on this
picture.

There’s a lot of people who take selfie with their family or
their friends, and some people are playing with sand or swimming, and I .. I
just sit and look around me, try to refresh my brain by enjoying the wind and hearing sound of waves while watching people doing things. I love beach because my mind
feels so quite when I see the blue sea, and realized that God’s created is really
amazing.
After enjoying the sea, we (my family and I) walk around the
fish trader, and my mom bought some fish, prawns, and squids. She also bought packs
of crispy salty seaweed. You must to know that the price of a pack crispy salty
seaweed is only Rp 10.000. I think it’s cheap! Hehehe .. Not only food, there’s
also clothes merchant, beads merchant, and beach hat merchant.
I think I can’t tell much for my story, because we only
came, bought some stuff and go home. But when I came home after vacation, I
feel better. I will give you a suggest, don’t forget to make your “me-time” for yourself it also can make
your mind feel better if you can’t go traveling.
